Did you guys seriously delete my last two posts that were in this thread? How is this acceptable? I haven't broken any rules. The only thing I have done was point out some serious deficiencies that should be addressed by the new president. You should change the name to the "928 Owners Clique".

Yes. Begin a new topic in another thread, McLovin. This thread is for member's who want to make suggestions on how they would like to see their forums moderated. Not for making opinions about what the candidates for President should/shouldn't address.

Stay on topic, please. Otherwise, begin a new thread.

Hey Mclovin, maybe we got off on the wrong foot so lets try again. BTW it was not me that deleted your post.

Yesterday I was on RL reading and a guy posted about having his car fixed by a "back yard mechanic" and I can not believe how the thread went. In that thread he was beat up for not working on his own car(not everyone can) he was scolded for not knowing how to check if it was fixed or not(not everyone can)
and just treated very rudely IMHO by everyone except maybe 1 or 2 that gave constructive advise.

At the 928 Owners Club we strive to be different by trying to treat everyone with respect. Of coarse it takes time to get to know everyone and even then some may have a bad day (hence Daves point of consideration)
But the general rule here is if you can't say something nice, read and don't post.

In your post above it was great except for the last word but given some of the post lately no-problemo

This is not my first forum that I have belonged to so I have seen the good and the bad. Some of the 928 crowd is about as opinionated as the musician forums which can make it tough to moderate.

I have talked to Eric on RL and a few others and the common term used about the last 2 weeks over here is a (Real Shit Show)
That does not make any of the regular members that post here daily very happy.

I hope you can bring constructive info to the 928 Owners club because it is all about the 928 and not so much if an old event thread was not updated do to the event owners not doing or posting anything more.
Like if I dont work on my car for 2 years so I never update it.

Because everything I have seen, and a great many others who do not want to post are asking just this.

Should we all start a new thread for issues we see?

Sean you are out of line, and wrong, ... because I have receive many e-mails complaining about the rudeness and have been told many times how good of job we the mods are doing.
I have been told that until this is under control they will stay out of it and I have also been told that many will be leaving RL because of it.

One person actually told me he wished he could change his vote (That is a terrible thing this fighting has done.)

Please!, I respect you as a mechanic and ask you to please not take the way others vote or there opinions personal.

Why does every comment have to be laced with glass?
This will not hurt the Owners club because anyone that is a regular here KNOWS, that this is not norma l and that it is just blowing in from another forum.

That is also a real sad point that I just made and that is that it is driving a wedge between the forums

Brad

Mac, the point you seem to be missing is that I haven't been mean to anyone. All I did was counter the points made by Stan Shaw and I did that with factual, real time examples. Since those points were counter to you and Stan's opinion, I was locked out of the forums (except this one ) and my posts have been deleted. You guys seem to have a major problem with anyone who doesn't share your opinions. That is a major problem if you are running a web forum. This OC is run like a dictatorship. If you don't tow the party line you are silenced. The current president gets to collect and count the votes on his very own private servers before he distributes them to others to "verify". It's terribly suspect in my opinion. And the behavior of Stan and the other moderators here have shown me, and many others, that dissenting oppinions are not welcome here. Maybe "the other half" need to start an alternative owners group. That way you guys can keep your little "club" intact and lilly white.

Let me first start with this, NONE of what I'm about to say is pointed to ANYONE specifically.

Secondly, If you aren't MAN enough to take a little criticism, or take something that may or may not be pointed at you directly, you need professional help. What kind of MEN don't LET THINGS GO? What does ANYthing put on ANY internet forum actually MEAN to you in the REAL world? If mean really?

The amount of drama that has happened here and on RL in the last couple weeks would seriously make teenage girls blush. It's completely sad really, and I hope that it doesn't continue because I respect a lot of the 928 community and I really don't wish anything bad on anyone.

So seriously, stop being teenage girls and F*#&ing GROW UP. It's REALLY not that hard.
