Sharks in the Mississippi - Dubuque, IA

The event date has been set:

When: July 27 & 28 10am-whenever each day. We can change time to earlier if people want to

Where: Dubuque, IA at the Dubuque Shooting Society Park

What: Meet up with your midwest 928 Owners. Share stories, show off your ride, eat, drink and shoot. Pick your order of any of those.

Shooting: If you want to shoot please bring your shotgun, pistol, rifle etc. We'll have the trap and/or sporting clays going so you can test your skill. There is a pistol area and if you want to try your skill with a 100 yard rifle shot we have a setup for that too but not at the same time as pistol/shotgun.

There will be routes laid out for some nice twisty roads with out and back photo options. There is an unofficial area where locals have been know to do some quarter mile runs but we don't condone that. forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...ilies/wink.gif

Please register your intent to attend by July 1 so we can have a hard number of people attending. A T-Shirt will be provided with your registration fee of $30. Steaks and Chops will also be provided for dinner and brats for lunch.

There is a cash bar with pretty much any poison or non poisoned beverage of your choice.

Lodging is readily available but I have called the Holiday Inn Express just up the road from the Shooting Park.

Rooms are held until July 5th and then the block will be released.

They have a block of 15 rooms set aside with a rate of $97.99 per night. I put it under the name 928 Owners Group. These rates are for the 26th to the 28th.

Great. I just joined a few days ago and live on the western side of the state so am glad there is something fairly close by. Hopefully I will have the work done on my 928 and can attend. Thanks for organizing this!
