Looking at a set of CIII rims where the rears have significant curb rash.
Was wondering if theres any folks out there with having like wheels repaired and the outcome?
TIA

A freind of mine had a set redone and they look fine. Check that the price to refinish is not more than bying new or very good used. I would get them done locally so that shipping costs don't get out of hand.

Often difficult to find local places that will do your wheels! Can save a LOT of money on shipping though! The good thing about the non-slotted Porsche wheels is they are PAINTED vs. anodized! Very few places can anodize your wheels and that almost always means shipping them out!

Don't sweat it buddy.
I know someone at work that had one of their 911 rims welded and repaired in Edmonton.

I can take mine to Montreal cheaper than I can ship them. Good excuse for a road trip. Great city by the way. I now have 3 sets of tires and rims.I bought the last set cheaper than a new set of tires only. I heard Brad picked up a set recently...LOL:D
