Took my heads off last night, several bent valves. I was not surprised that is what I expected. Moving forward I would like some suggestion The best place to get valves and maybe the best place to send the heads to get it done right.

I'd probably recommend 928 International. You should get a pair of good heads from them for a pretty reasonable price. I don't know that I would trust buying such a critical engine part from anywhere else.

When I had a pair of heads rebuilt, I bought the parts from 928 Int'l (928intl.com) as I had bought the heads from them at the same time. I had a local machine shop do the work. Jury is out, as they are sitting in my cellar with all the other stoker motor build parts.

Why are you sending the heads to 928 Intl? Are they doing the work for you? I may be wrong, but I think the previous posters were just telling you that they bought their parts from 928 Intl.
Oh, sorry to hear about your bent valves.

Oscar,
since you are close to Texas, maybe one of the guys from there, or James may know who is close to you.
I contacted Greg brown because he is a perfectionist.
He has a shop that will do them from $500-$600 for both heads but the guilds and valves are extra.
he may even touch up the oil drains at the same time.
I have had quotes up here for 1/2 that price.
this is a quote from Roger @ 928rus
[IIRC Inlet & Exhaust valves are $20 to $30 each.]
If you want to buy the valves and have them done locally
but
You get what you pay for
