Dash Pod

Quick Question ... Can a Dash pod for a right hand drive car be used for a left hand drive car, same year/same model ?

Hmmm I am not sure. I would have to check the numbers when I get home to see if they are the same.

That is a good question...I think they were the same, but I don't know that for sure...

To give you an update, the dash pods are the same regardless if it is a left or right hand drive car as I just got a replacement pod for my 1990S4 out of the UK.

My pod is developing a crack and as I want to keep it as close to original as possible I searched the net and found a dash pod in great condition out of a 1990S4 (same year and model) that had been wreaked and is being dismanteled ... see photos.

The color is close but I am going to have it dyed to match exactly this way I can keep the interior looking original. If I had the pod re-finished in leather I would end ypup doing the whole interior !!

Maybe some day I will do the leather

Interesting. I haven't seen a '90 up close - what are the extra switch locations along the bottom edge?

90 and up have those. The button to the FAR LEFT is ODO reset, the rotory next to it is dash light dimming and the rotory on the right is intermittent wiper speed. Just noticed he has a button on the VERY FAR RIGHT too and I think that is the intensive wash, but I am not positive about that one...
