Man that didn't take long to burn the front pads off the car.
I didn't think I was getting any help stopping from the rears.
The back rims never got brake dust on them either.
who wants to guess what Roger is going to put on the list.
I told him the above and told him to tell me what I need and the price

you need to change the bias valve........Porsche made the low pressure valve change for the S4 model making the rear brakes more of a stabiliser than a true brake, somewhat akin to a rear brake on a sport m/cycle.
I changed the bias valve on the S4 to the earlier version, 33 bar IIRC, and the car now squats at all 4 corners when on the brakes....if you want absolute proof take a IR temp gun with you on a run, brake hard a few times then read the front and rear rotor temps, you'll be amazed at the diff.!

I had heard you mention that before and I already asked Roger for the Hawk pads and the 33 bar bias valve. On its way

It is a GREAT upgrade!!! If my shop would have had a 33bar on hand I would have that in my '93 GTS right now! DANG IT! I didn't have time to order it and wait! It is on the to do list next time it goes in.
I have been using Pagid Blacks on my S4 and they are like throwing out an anchor (that car also has the 33 bar which helps as well), does anyone have any suggestions for a GTS pad that works as well but it less squeal-y and perhaps less dust producing (though the Blacks seem better than the stock pads)???
