Had a chance to use a friends private road to let her run after a year of work.

12.9 is very quick! I am surprised actually. The 0-60 is not bad either for the car, but pales by today's fast cars unfortunately. Same for all of us there though. Imagine if we had modern gearboxes and modern engine management our cars would be REALLY FAST and powerful!

James,

I love my car. Just feels and sounds like more than it showed.

Your quarter mile times are excellent. I think stock GT and GTS times were low 13's back in the day. Those 86.5's will really run when properly tuned, as they can make the HP of a GT while weighing significantly less. Well done!

Good stuff! We did not buy them to drag them at lights, ...6 is quite acceptable. But take that power, weight and handling and add a few curves and the race is over,,,that is what we bought them for anyway ;)

Good to see you had a plan and then was patient while you executed it. Now you have some real improvements to show for it. I am getting close to that point now myself and could not be happier either. I have no idea of my times before though and will probably not measure them now, I just know what I enjoy and it is getting very close to "withdrawal" pains when I cannot drive it for more than a week or two. Good sign HA
Enjoy!
