Silly question about 928 OC etiquette... 26 Apr 2018 02:29 #20314

Hello,

As the title says, I have a silly question. Is it poor etiquette to join the 928 OC if I don't yet have a 928? I want to join the OC. My slush fund is growing. I am starting to search, but haven't purchased a 928...yet.

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

We welcome and assist those who have interest in the Porsche 928 but have not purchased them yet. Often questions arise that we owners can answer.

Hi Larry,

Absolutely not, etiquette is undamaged. You can utilize the collective wisdom of the members to assist you in finding the right 928. It may save you from spending $10,000 to buy a $5000 car.

Good luck,
Richard

Silly question about 928 OC etiquette... 03 May 2018 16:28 #20330

Larry, I hope there isn’t any unfamiliar or unwanted attention for joining without current ownership, I too am here, for the sake of gathering up as much knowledge as possible to empower myself for a 928 purchase. My troubles, there isn’t any around me!
I am original a Volkswagen guy, and with growing numbers in the air cooled world, I can no longer afford a 911, which is alright with me, the 928 has the look I want, I’m just torn on this whole water-cooled thing :)
Best of luck Larry, I hope to find some insight here, and wish for you the same.
