Hi,
Started my timing belt and water pump service smoothly by quickly encountered some issues rotating the crank counterclockwise to 45 degrees to TDC instead of clockwise. I then removed the belt without understanding my mistake and my cams are not in position either. To make it worse, my drivers side cam has since moved maximum 4 teeth, probably 2 teeth. How do I fix this? My only guess would be to attach the new timing belt and tensioner and rotate the crank until the cams are at TDC and the crank is at 45 to TDC and hope I dont bend a valve. Please help!
Cheers and Thanks,
Noah

It's important to know what you do when setting the time, especially when replacing the timing belt, rather get someone that knows how to set the timing properly on these cars.

hope you sort it out.

I'm more looking for an actual solution rather than the "take it to the mechanic".
